충북바이오산학융합원, '24 의약품 제조품질 전문인력 양성과정 수료식

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북바이오산학융합원(원장 이장희)은 지난 6일 기업연구1관 1층 교육실에서 의약품 제조품질 전문인력 양성과정(1차) 수료생과 기관 관계자 등 30여명이 참석한 가운데 수료식을 개최했다.

충청북도와 한국산업인력공단, 충북지역인적자원개발위원회가 지원하는 지역·산업 맞춤형 인력양성사업 채용예정자 과정의 일환으로 진행된 이 과정은 10월 28일부터 12월 6일까지 총 30일(180시간) 동안 의약품 생산, 품질관리 관련 분야로의 취업을 희망하는 취업준비생들을 대상으로 실시한 현장 중심의 맞춤형 전문 교육과정이다.

이 과정은 의약품 생산, 품질관리 직무에서 요구되는 필수역량에 맞추어 ▷의약품 생산 및 품질관리 공정의 이해 ▷Data Integrity의 이해 ▷분석기기 활용 실습(HPLC) ▷세포배양 및 무균공정 실습 등 실무 중심의 내용으로 구성되어 있다.

관련 전공자들도 대학에서 쉽게 다뤄보기 힘든 HPLC, LC-MS 등 분석기기들을 직접 다뤄볼 수 있고, 교육내용이 대체로 실습 수업 위주로 이루어져 있다는 점, 그리고 강사진이 현장 근무 경력이 있거나, 실제 현장에서 근무하는 재직자들 위주로 구성되어 있어 생생한 현장 이야기를 들을 수 있다는 점 등의 이유로 매회 20명의 교육생을 모집하는 이 과정은 매년 약 100명 이상의 지원자들이 몰릴 정도로 인기를 얻고 있다.

이날 수료식에서는 수료생 20명에 대한 수료증 수여 및 우수 교육생에 대한 표창이 이루어졌고, 이장희 원장은 이에 대해 “이번 교육을 통해 좁은 취업문을 이겨내고 충북 지역의 의약품 제조품질 전문가로서의 발돋움 하기를 기대한다.”는 축사를 남겼다.

이 교육과정의 20명의 교육생들 중 4명은 취업확정이 되었으며, 나머지 교육생들도 향후 맞춤형 취업연계 프로그램을 지원받을 예정이다.
