이번 교육은 농업인의 영농계획 수립과 지역특화작목에 대한 핵심 영농기술의 신속한 보급을 목표로, 농업인의 소득 증대와 경쟁력 향상에 중점을 두고 진행된다.
영동군 농업기술센터는 1월 7일 시설포도 교육을 시작으로 △미생물 △복숭아 △자두 △사과 △블루베리 △고추 △고구마 △GAP(우수농산물관리) △토양 △치유농업 △농산물유통 △텃밭농업 △농작업 안전재해 예방 △콩 △깨 △굴삭기 △트랙터 등 총 26회에 걸쳐 1,890명을 대상으로 교육을 추진한다.
특히 농작업 안전재해 예방 교육은 교육 이수 후 지역농협에 자료를 제출하면 농업인안전보험 주계약 보험료의 5%, 농기계 종합보험 산출보험료의 3%(최대금액 있음)를 할인받을 수 있어 농업인들에게 실질적인 혜택을 제공한다.
