【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자= 진천군은 중대 재해예방 역량 강화교육을 ㈜제이에스안전 이종남 대표이사를 초청해 100여 명의 국장, 관리감독자와 실무 담당자들을 대상으로 진행했다고 9일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 △산업재해 통계 및 중대재해 발생사례 △중대재해 처벌 등에 관한 법률과 산업안전보건법 설명 및 의무 이행 사항 안내 △중대재해를 예방하기 위한 지방자치단체의 역할 등의 주제로 운영됐다.
군은 중대 재해예방을 위해 모두가 실천하고 참여하는 안전 문화를 만들고자 사업장 스스로 위험요인을 진단하고 개선하는 ‘자기 규율 예방점검’을 매월 실시하고 있다.
특히 올해는 중대재해 처벌 등에 관한 법률 적용 대상 확대 등 처벌 규정 강화로, 전 직원 대상으로 외부 전문가를 초빙해 안전관리 역량 강화교육을 진행했다.
군 관계자는“중대재해 예방은 단순히 법적 의무를 넘어서 모든 군민과 근로자의 생명을 지키는 일이다”라며 “앞으로도 중대 재해예방을 위해 다양하고 유익한 교육을 마련하겠다”라고 말했다.
