【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 9일 군청 상황실에서 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 조성 기본계획 최종보고회를 개최했다.
이번 보고회는 사업추진 경과 분석 및 스마트농업타운 추진전략 수립과 사업의 타당성 확보 방안을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
이날 조병옥 군수를 비롯해 관계 공무원, 공동시행 기관인 한국동서발전, 충북개발공사, 한국농어촌공사 관계자 등 30여 명이 참석했다.
이번 용역은 그린에너지단지, 스마트농업단지, 관광·산업복합단지, 역세권 및 주거단지 등 사업별 추진 방안을 수립하고 사업의 타당성 확보와 사업추진 로드맵 수립 등 실질적인 사업추진을 위한 전략들이 구체적으로 제시됐다.
군은 이번 연구용역에서 제시된 의견을 면밀히 검토해 관련 정부 공모사업이나 군정에 적극 반영한다는 방침이다.
연말까지 기본계획 수립 및 타당성 조사 용역을 완료하면 2025년 초 지구지정 용역을 발주한다. 구체적인 사업계획이 나오면 주민설명회를 개최해 주민 의견을 수렴하고 지구지정 후 2027년에 토지보상과 실시계획을 수립해 2028년 착공, 2031년까지 준공한다는 계획이다.
조병옥 군수는 “이번에 추진하는 음성 그린에너지 스마트농업타운은 정부·지자체·기관·민간이 공동으로 농촌의 위기를 극복하는 대한민국 미래 농업의 새로운 모델이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “벤치마킹이나 투자유치 설명회를 개최하는 등 사업이 내실 있게 추진될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 군은 지난 7월 국토교통부가 주관하는 투자선도지구 공모사업에 최종 선정돼 음성군과 충북개발공사, 한국동서발전, 한국농어촌공사 충북본부에서 시행자로 참여하고 있다. 사업 면적은 119만㎡로, 총사업비 4천873억원이 투자될 계획이다.
향후 사업이 완료되면 임대형 스마트팜 단지에서는 주민 또는 청년들이 스마트팜 온실에서 체험·교육을 받을 수 있으며, 분양형 스마트팜 단지에서는 개인 또는 기업 등에 분양할 예정이다.
또한 스마트농업 단지에서 유통·가공·판매·체험·관광이 결합할 수 있도록 구체적인 방안도 마련할 방침이다.
