박석규 지부장은 “증평 지역사회의 복지향상에 기여하고자 후원을 결정했다”며, “기탁한 물품이 지역 내 취약계층과 복지시설에 유용하게 쓰이길 바란다”고 말했다.
신연택 이사장은 “지역의 소외되고 어려움을 겪는 이웃에게 도움이 됐으면 한다”며 “앞으로도 소외된 이웃에 관심을 기울이며 의미 있는 지원을 통해 지역사회 따뜻한 분위기가 계속 이어질 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 증평복지재단은 2019년부터 지역의 취약계층 및 소외계층 지원을 위한 복지사업을 진행하고 있다.
