충주박물관은 지난 2019년부터 6년 연속‘문화예술교육사 현장역량강화사업’에 선정돼 지역 문화예술교육사 양성과 시민의 문화예술교육 향유 기회 확대에 앞장서 왔다.
특히 작년에 이어 올해까지 2년 연속 우수사례로 선정되는 등 문화예술교육 발전에 기여한 공로를 높이 평가 받았다.
충주박물관은 문화예술교육사 현장역량강화사업 외에도 유아 문화예술교육, 충북형 생애주기 문화예술교육 등 지역 내 문화예술교육 향유 환경 구축과 활성화를 위해 노력하고 있다.
박흥수 충주박물관장은“문화예술교육 향유기회 확대를 위한 노력을 인정받아 기쁘다”며, “앞으로도 지역의 유구한 역사와 문화를 다양한 문화예술교육으로 승화할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
