【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군은 조세형(사진) 농업기술센터 과학영농팀장이 농촌진흥청 주관 ‘2024년 한국농업기술보급대상’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 9일 밝혔다.
이 상은 전국 농촌진흥기관 소속 6,500여 명의 지방농촌진흥공무원을 대상으로 농업농촌 발전에 기여한 농촌진흥공무원을 선발·시상하는 명실상부 농촌진흥사업 최고의 상이다.
조 팀장은 1차 서류심사, 2차 현장과 여론 평가, 3차 발표평가 등 3개월 동안 엄격한 심사 과정을 통해 최종 수상자로 선발됐다.
2006년 공직의 길을 걷기 시작한 조세형 팀장은 19년간 단양지역 농업발전을 위해 노력했다.
특히 △과학영농시설 구축 및 운영 △명품단양마늘육성 및 한지형종구생산단지 조성 △마늘생산자단체통합 △단산마늘우량종구보급 △현장중심·사람중심의 농가지도사업 △농업인 대내외 다수 출강경력 △영농교재집필 및 농업블로그 운영 △농림축산식품부장고나 등 22회의 수상 경력 등 탁월한 지도역량 공로를 인정받았다.
조 팀장은 “지도사업의 중심은 사람이라고 생각한다”며 “언제나 농업인들과 함께 영농현장에서 교감할 때가 가장 행복하다”고 말했다.
이어 “앞으로도 함께 고생하는 동료 선후배 직원과 함께 농업인의 소득향상과 행복한 농업을 만들어 가는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
