보령시, '온심통(溫心通)'으로 소외계층 시민과 소통

보령시는 주변의 관심에서 소외된 계층에게 다가가 마음을 나누는 현장 중심 포용정책의 일환으로 2024년 보령형 포용도시 '온심통(溫心通)' 행사를 진행했다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 온심통 행사는 디지털 정보격차, 사회적 요인으로 인한 외로움, 개인주의적 성향 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소외계층 시민들과의 대화를 통해 애로사항을 청취하고 해결 방안을 모색하기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

이번 년도 마지막 행사는 지난 6일 대천2동 행정복지센터에서 이뤄졌으며, 김동일 시장과 관계 공무원들이 참석해 소외계층 시민 8명과 대화의 시간을 가졌고 참여한 시민들은 자유롭게 자신들의 애로사항을 이야기했다.

올해 1월 주교면을 시작으로 총 9개 읍·면·동에서 진행된 행사에는 65명의 시민이 참여해 69건의 건의사항을 제기했다. 그중 다수의 문제들이 실제 해결되며 큰 성과를 거두었다(지난해 23년도: 6개 면 44명 - 43건 청취).
