충청남도가 9일 도청 대회의실에서 하나은행, 서울보증보험, 충청남도공공노동조합 충남도청지회와 ‘충청남도 공무직원 금융서비스 지원’ 업무협약을 체결했다고 전했다
이번 협약은 도내 공무직원의 생활 안정을 도모하기 위한 금융서비스 지원을 목적으로 추진되었다.
협약식에는 김태흠 충남도지사, 이동열 하나은행 충청영업그룹 부행장, 이상규 서울보증보험 대전충청본부장, 장명순 충청남도공공노동조합 충남도청지회장이 참석했다.
협약식은 시군 설명회 및 의견 수렴, 경과 보고, 협약 서명 등의 순서로 진행되었다.
이번 협약에 따라 각 기관은 도내 공무직 근로자에게 개선된 금융서비스를 제공하기 위한 제반 사항에 대해 협력하기로 했다.
충남도는 공무직원을 총괄 관리하여 협약을 안정적으로 추진하고 사업 활성화를 도모하며, 하나은행은 공무직원을 위한 금융 상품 개발 및 금융서비스 제공에 협력한다.
서울보증보험은 공무직원에 대한 생활안정자금 대출 취급 시 보증보험 발급 업무에 협조하고, 충청남도공공노동조합 충남도청지회는 도·시군 공무직원에 대한 금융 상품 및 금융서비스 홍보에 적극 나설 예정이다.
이번 협약은 전북특별자치도에 이어 전국에서 두 번째로 시행되는 공무직원 대상 금융서비스 지원 업무협약으로, 충남도는 하나은행과 함께 대출 한도를 확대하고 대출금리를 대폭 낮춘 충남형 신용대출 상품을 개발해 본격 출시할 계획이다.
해당 상품은 시중은행보다 낮은 대출 금리를 제공하며, 대출 한도를 초과하는 경우 서울보증보험 증권을 담보로 추가 대출이 가능하도록 지원할 예정이다.
김태흠 지사는 “도는 앞으로도 공무직원 복지 향상과 경제적 안정을 위해 다양한 정책과 지원을 이어나갈 것”이라며, “오늘 협약이 공무직원 여러분의 삶에 긍정적인 변화를 가져오고 도가 선도적인 복지 모델을 제시하는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편, 도는 이날 협약식에 앞서 도·시군 공무직 업무 담당자와 시군 노조위원장, 하나은행 시군 지점장 등을 대상으로 도내 4000여 명의 도·시군 공무직원이 동등한 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 협약 내용과 금융서비스 등 주요 내용을 안내했다.
