진주시, 9일부터 신축 건축물 건물번호 자동부여

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 민원처리 간소화와 건물의 신속한 사용승인 처리를 위해 신축 건물의 건물번호가 9일부터 자동 부여된다고 밝혔다.

신축 건물의 건물번호 자동 부여란 건축물 신축 시 착공신고가 완료되면 건축주가 신청하지 않아도 주소 담당 부서에서 건물번호를 자동으로 부여는 주민 편의 제도다.

이전에는 건축주가 직접 시청을 방문하거나 정부24를 통해 건물번호 부여를 신청하는 번거로움과 준공 시점에 건물번호를 부여 받기 위해 사용승인이 지연되는 경우가 발생했다.

이번 개선으로 건축물 신축 시 착공 신고와 건물번호 부여 신청을 각각 해야 하는 불편이 해소돼 건축물의 준공이 더욱 신속하고 편리하게 진행될 전망이다.

진주시 관계자는 “건물번호 자동 부여로 시민에게 더욱 빠르고 편리한 행정서비스를 제공할 수 있다”며 “앞으로도 질 높은 민원 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
