이번 캠페인은 「HIV/에이즈 바로 알고 예방하기」라는 주제로전통시장 내 홍보 부스를 운영하여 ▲에이즈 예방수칙 ▲인식개선 레드리본완성 등의 활동으로 지역민의 인식 개선에 힘쓴다.
또한보건소 에이즈 무료 익명검사 및 상담 안내가 이루어지며다양한매체(전광판, 홈페이지, 포스터·배너 등)를 통한 홍보 활동도병행할 예정이다.
김주수 의성군수는 “에이즈는 예방과 조기 발견이 중요한 질환으로,이번 캠페인을 통해 예방의 중요성을 알리고 에이즈에 대한 사회적편견을 줄이는 계기가 되길 바란다”라며, “앞으로도 지역민의 건강과안전을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
