[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시의회 박태순 의장이 9일 시의회를 찾은 대만 담수 청년회의소 방문단을 접견하고 양 기관의 우호 협력 방안을 논의했다.
박태순 의장은 이날 의회 대회의실에서 노언정 대만 담수 청년회의소 회장과 안산 청년회의소 임원진을 비롯한 방문단 일행을 만나 안산시 및 시의회 소개와 양국 청년 정책 등을 주제로 간담회를 가졌다.
이 자리에서 박태순 의장은 “대만 담수 JC와 안산 JC는 지난 1981년부터 이어온 끈끈한 교류를 통해 양 도시에 우호의 가치를 창출하고 있다”며 “JC는 미래의 리더를 양성하고 지역사회 발전에 기여하는 세계적인 청년단체로 담수 JC와 안산 JC 회원들이 보여준 열정과 헌신은 양국 청년들의 훌륭한 본보기”라고 밝혔다.
이어 “이번 방문이 양 단체 간의 우정을 더욱 돈독히 하고 협력의 지평을 넓히는 소중한 계기가 되길 바라며, 아울러 안산에서 한국의 문화와 정취를 만끽하며 아름다운 추억을 쌓기를 기대한다”고 당부했다.
이에 노언정 대만 담수 청년회의소 회장도 안산 측의 환대에 고마움을 표하며, 앞으로도 연대와 협력을 이어가자고 화답했다.
간담회 후 방문단 일행은 박태순 의장의 안내에 따라 본회의장을 둘러보면서 한국의 지방의회에 대해 이해를 넓히는 시간을 갖기도 했다.
한편, 담수 청년회의소가 적을 둔 담수(淡水)구는 대만 신북시에 위치해 있으며, 대만을 대표하는 항구 도시이자 아름다운 해변 풍광을 자랑하는 휴양지로 알려져 있다.
