광주도시관리공사, 찾아가는 지문사전등록 서비스

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주도시관리공사는 지난 5일 광주경찰서와 '찾아가는 지문사전등록 캠페인'을 실시했다.

이번 행사는 광주경찰서에서 광주시 워터파크에 직접 방문하여 18세 미만 청소년 및 65세 이상 어르신을 대상으로 실종에 대비해 찾아가는 지문사전등록 서비스를 실시하여 시민들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.

‘찾아가는 지문사전등록’은 사회적 약자 보호를 위한 선제적 예방활동으로 등록을 위해 경찰서를 방문해야하는 불편함을 최소화하기 위해 공사에서 처음 도입하여 시행했다.

또한, 올 한해 실종아동 예방을 위하여 하수관로 운영차량 및 광주희망콜 운영차량등 총 30대에 지문사전등록제를 랩핑하여 차량홍보 활동도 펼치며 시민들에게 필요한 정보를 적극적으로 제공했다.

찾아가는 지문사전등록이란 18세 미만의 아동, 지적·자폐·장애인, 치매환자, 65세이상 어르신을 대상으로 지문과 사진등을 미리등록하여 실종되었을 때 등록된 자료를 이용해 신속하게 찾기 위한 제도이다. 경찰에 등록된 지문, 사진등 개인정보는 5단계 보안프로그램을 설치.운용하여 시스템에 접근 할 수 없도록 엄격히 통제된다.
