중부해경청, 민·관 합동 수난대비기본훈련 실시

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 9일, 대규모 해상 재난사고 대응체계 강화를 위해 지난 6일 오후 2시 충남 서산시 소재의 대산항 인근 해상에서 민·관 합동으로 ‘수난대비기본훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

중부해경청에 따르면, 이번 훈련에는 해양경찰청, 중부지방해경청, 태안·평택해양경찰서와 서산시청, 서산·당진소방서, 해양환경공단 등 10개 기관과 단체가 참여하였으며 선박 14척 등 250여명이 동원됐다.

훈련 내용은 여객선이 조업중인 어선과 충돌한 상황을 가정하여 화재진화, 전복선박 구조, 다수사상자 대응 등 유관기관·단체와 합동 구조 훈련으로 진행하면서 임무와 역할을 숙지하고 협력체계를 구축하는데 중점을 뒀다.

특히 이번 훈련은 해양사고 발생시 위험성이 높은 동절기를 앞두고 실시하는 해상 재난사고 대응 훈련으로서 선박사고 발생에 대비한 초기 대응, 응급환자 이송 등을 전반적으로 점검하는 기회가 됐다.

중부지방해경청 관계자는“앞으로도 실전과 같은 훈련을 통해 해양 재난 발생시 유관기관 간 합동 대응역량을 강화하여 국민의 소중한 생명과 재산을 보호할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
