영덕군, 수도권에서 영덕사과 홍보·판촉 행사 펼쳐

9일 군에 따르면 이 자리엔 김광열 군수를 비롯해 김성호 영덕군의회 의장, 관내 농협 조합장들, 재경영덕군향우회 회원들이 참석해 소비자들에게 지역 농특산물의 우수성을 널리 알렸다.

이번 행사에 기획된 지역 농특산물은 사과, 포도, 고사리 등으로, 행사 기간 시중보다 낮은 가격으로 판매하는 것은 물론, 시식 코너를 마련하고 사과를 구매하는 고객들에게 해풍을 맞고 자라 단맛이 좋은 영덕 시금치를 무료로 나눠주는 등의 이벤트를 열어 많은 관심을 받았다.

이번 홍보·판촉 행사에 나선 김광열 영덕군수 “어려운 경기 속에서 국민께서 실속 있는 조건에 영덕사과를 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 이를 계기로 영덕 농특산물의 인지도와 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 이번 행사를 마련했다”고 취지를 전했다.

이어 김 군수는 “도시와 농촌의 경제가 공급과 수요의 안정적인 순환 속에 상호 공존하고 발전할 수 있도록 생산자와 소비자를 직접 연결하는 효율적인 유통 체계와 지속 가능한 지역 농업혁신을 이룩해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
