(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 6일 시교육청 대회의실에서 미래교육위원회 하반기 총회 및 3기 신규위원 위촉식을 개최했다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 위촉식에서는 인천광역시의회, 시장, 군수, 구청장의 추천을 받은 5명의 위원이 새롭게 위촉됐다.
미래교육위원회는 민간 협치를 통한 교육 거버넌스 구축을 목표로 현장 중심의 교육 정책 의제 발굴 및 개선 방안을 제안하는 역할을 수행한다.
이날 총회에서는 ‘교육의 생태적 전환을 위한 주민주도 교육 공론장의 필요성’에 대한 강의가 진행됐으며, 광주시민협치회 운영 사례를 통해 민관 교육 거버넌스 활성화 방안을 제시했다.
도성훈 교육감은 “학교를 삶으로, 일상을 배움으로! 라는 정책 방향을 위해 더 촘촘한 민관협치를 기대한다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 7일 전국 교육청 최초의 창업 선도학교인 ‘글로벌스타트업학교’2기 수료식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 수료식에는 글로벌스타트업학교 2기 학생과 학부모를 비롯해 도성훈 교육감, 학교 관계자, (재)넥스트챌린지아시아, 유관기관 관계자 등 200여 명이 참석하여 자리를 빛냈다.
초·중·고 학생 77명은 기업가정신, 미래 기술 트렌드 교육, 창업가와의 만남 등 맞춤형 교육으로 창의성과 도전정신을 함양했다.
수료식에서는 교육 성과 발표, 학생들의 IR 데모데이, 수료증 전달식 등이 진행됐다.
특히 IR 데모데이에서 선보인 창의적이고 혁신적인 아이디어는 큰 호응을 얻었다.
수료식에 참여한 학생은 “글로벌스타트업학교에서 도전과 협업의 가치를 배우고, 한계를 뛰어넘는 계기를 마련했다”라고 소감을 전했다.
도성훈 교육감은 “글로벌스타트업학교는 학생들이 꿈을 구체화하고 글로벌 무대를 향한 비전을 품게 하는 발판”이라며, “미래를 준비하는 교육을 통해 글로벌 창업 생태계에 기여할 인재를 육성하겠다”고 말했다.
