(강진=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도는 철저한 양돈농장 검사와 체계적인 방역관리에 나선 결과 20년 이상 돼지열병(CSF) 비발생 상태를 유지, 돼지열병 청정지역임을 다시 한번 확인했다고 밝혔다.
돼지열병은 감염 시 치사율이 높아 법정 제1종 가축전염병으로 관리되는 질병으로, 최근 경기, 강원, 경북에서 발생하는 아프리카돼지열병(ASF)과는 다른 질병이다.
국내에서는 2016년 9월 경기도 연천에서 마지막으로 발생했으며, 전남은 화순에서 2003년 3월 발생 이후 지금까지 비발생 상태를 유지하고 있다. 이는 철저한 양돈농장 모니터링 검사와 체계적인 방역 관리 때문이란 분석이다.
