[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산도시공사가 환경부 주관 ‘한국형 녹색채권 발행 이차보전 지원 사업’에 선정돼 6천만 원의 지원금을 받는다.
안산도시공사는 장상·신길2 공공주택지구 조성사업을 위해 발행한 300억 원 규모의 채권 이자비용에 대해 이 같은 지원을 받는다고 9일 밝혔다.
환경부와 한국환경산업기술원이 주관하는 이 사업은 한국형 녹색분류체계인 6대 환경목표(▲온실가스 감축 ▲기후변화 적응 ▲물의 지속가능한 보전 ▲순환경제로의 전환 ▲오염 방지 및 관리 ▲생물다양성 보전) 달성에 기여하는 녹색경제활동에 대한 지원을 위해 마련됐다.
지원 자격요건은 ▲신용등급(A0 이상) ▲녹색채권 발행 인증서 ▲녹색경제활동기준 적합 여부 등으로, 안산도시공사는 모두 충족했다.
안산도시공사는 이 사업에 300억 원 규모의 채권으로 신청해 ‘온실가스 감축’에 해당하는 경제활동을 인정받아 전체 발행금의 0.2%에 해당하는 이자를 지원 받는다.
강창권 안산도시공사 재무관리부장은 “이번 지원 사업 선정에 따라 6천만 원의 자체예산을 절감하는 효과를 거뒀다”라며 “앞으로도 정부 지원 사업에 적극 지원해 가겠다”라고 말했다.
