[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시가 과학기술정보통신부가 주최한 ‘2024년도 데이터 산업진흥 유공자 포상’에서 ‘데이터 개방·유통 활성화 기관 부문’ 과기부 장관상을 수상했다.
시상식은 9일 페어몬트 앰배서더 서울 호텔에서 열렸다.
‘데이터 개방·유통 활성화 기관 표창’은 데이터 개방·유통 활성화에 공헌한 단체와 개인에게 수여한다.
시는 수요자 중심의 고품질 공공데이터를 발굴·수집해 개방하고, 데이터를 활용해 과학적 행정을 추진해 대국민 데이터 이용 활성화에 기여한 점을 인정받았다.
올해 6월 기준 ▲공공데이터포털에서 표준 69종, 파일 128종, API(응용프로그램인터페이스) 4종 ▲스마트치안 빅데이터 플랫폼에서 25종 ▲경기데이터드림에서 개방표준 22종, 제공신청 42종 등 데이터를 개방하고 있다.
수원시는 2023년까지 5년 연속 공공데이터 제공 운영 실태 평가에서 우수기관으로 선정되며 특별교부세 8000만 원을 확보한 바 있다.
수원시는 데이터 기반 경제 활성화를 위해 민간과 학계, 공공기관과 적극적으로 협력했다. 경기대학교 산학협력단과 협력해 청년들에게 데이터 분석 실무경험을 제공하며 인재를 양성했다. 국민연금공단과는 데이터를 공유해 사업체 현황을 분석하고, 근로자 맞춤형 정책을 설계했다.
