[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시 자율방범연합대는 ‘2024년 정기총회 및 이취임식’을 개최했다.
지난 7일 월곶면 청룡회관에서 김병수 김포시장, 김인수 시의회 의장을 비롯한 주요 내빈과 자율방범연합대원 150여 명이 참석했다.
이번 행사는 자율방범대의 1년간 활동을 되돌아보고 향후 비전과 방향을 재정립하며 대원들 간의 화합을 다지는 자리로, 자율방범활동 사업보고와 유공 표창 등의 프로그램으로 진행됐다.
신용철 연합대장은 행사에서 “추운 날씨에도 늘 한결같은 마음으로 지역사회를 지켜주시는 대원님들 덕분에 김포가 더 안전해지고 있다”며 “앞으로도 서로 협력하며 시민들이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 김포를 만들어 나가자”고 말했다.
김병수 김포시장은 “여러분의 희생과 헌신이야말로 김포시민들의 안전을 지탱하는 가장 큰 버팀목”이라며 “방범대원으로서의 자부심을 갖고, 김포를 범죄 없는 도시로 만들어 시민들에게 더 큰 행복을 선사해 주시길 부탁드린다”고 밝혔다.
