대통령실 관계자는 이날 YTN과의 통화에서"윤 대통령이 대국민 담화를 검토하고 있다"며 "담화 구체적 내용·시간은 대통령이 결심할 것"이라고 전했다.

윤 대통령은 지난 3일 밤 갑작스런 비상계엄 선포 및 4일 새벽 비상계엄 해제를 대국민 담화 형식으로 직접 발표 후 나흘 간 추가 공개 입장을 내지 않고 있다.
국회는 이날 오후 더불어민주당 등 야당 주도로 본회의를 열어 윤 대통령에 대한 탄핵소추안 및 김건희 여사 특검법 표결을 진행한다.
