브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 배우 이정재의 소속사 아티스트컴퍼니가 금융당국 조사 보도 관련해 입장을 밝혔다.
아티스트컴퍼니는 6일 브레이크뉴스에 “과거 와이더플래닛(현 아티스트유나이티드)은 금융당국의 조사를 받고 있는 것은 사실이다. 그러나 아티스트컴퍼니와 이정재는 조사 대상이 아니다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “이정재는 와이더플래닛의 제3자 배정 유상증자 당시 정보유출이나 선행 매매와 같은 불법적인 행위와는 전혀 관계가 없으며, 이정재와 아티스트유나티드가 받고 있는 오해를 해소할 수 있도록 적극 대응하겠다”고 전했다.
그러면서 “아티스트유나이티드의 자체 조사를 통해 선행매수 또는 정보유출 관련자들을 고소·고발해 주주들의 피해가 없도록 철저히 대응할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
이날 뉴데일리는 금융당국이 와이더플래닛 선행매매 등 부당거래 의혹에 대해 수사에 나섰다고 보도했다. 와이더플래닛은 지난해 12월 이정재, 정우성, 박인규 전 위지윅스튜디오 대표 등이 인수한 코스닥 상장사로, 지난 3월 아티스트유나이티드로 사명을 바꿨다.
