포항TP, ‘동북권 ICT스타트업 IR챌린지’성료

이번 대회는 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원이 주최하고 포항TP가 주관하며, ICT분야 스타트업의 초기 자금 안정화와 투자 유치 활성화를 목표로마련된 자리였다.

이번 대회는 동북권(경북,강원,대구) 소재 ICT분야 예비창업자 및 창업 7년 이하초기기업을 대상으로 진행되었다. 1차 예선 선발을 통과한 9개의 팀이 본선에 참가하여 사전 전문가 온라인 멘토링을 통해 고도화된 비즈니스 모델과 사업화계획들이 현장에서 발표되었다.

심사는 1차 예선 심사(서면심사)와 2차 심사 현장 발표평가로 이루어졌으며, ‘AI와 로봇 기반의 약품 카운팅 분류 자동화 시스템’을 제안한 ▲엑시온랩스(팀장 이재영)이 최우수상을 수상하여 400만원의 상금을받았다. 우수상은 ▲아이세이팀이 차지하여 200만원을 수상했다. 입상자들에게는 창업 공간 무상 지원, 전국 공모전 출전 기회 제공 등의 혜택이 주어질 예정이다.

포항TP 배영호 원장은 “이번 IR챌린지 행사를 통해 지역 ICT스타트업과 예비창업자들의 혁신적이고 창의적인 아이디어를 확인할 수 있었다.”며, “앞으로도 지역 스타트업의 초기 자금 확보와 투자 유치 활동 지원에 최선을다하겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang TP, ‘Northeastern ICT Startup IR Challenge’ Completed

The ‘Northeastern ICT Startup IR Challenge’ held by the Pohang Technopark (Director Bae Young-ho, hereinafter Pohang TP) Gyeongbuk Digital Innovation Headquarters at the Gyeongbuk ICT Innovation Square on the 4th has come to a close in Seonghang-ri.

This competition was hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency and organized by Pohang TP, and was held with the goal of stabilizing initial funding and activating investment attraction for ICT startups.

This competition was held for prospective ICT startups and early-stage companies with less than 7 years of history in the Northeastern region (Gyeongbuk, Gangwon, Daegu). Nine teams that passed the first preliminary selection participated in the final round, and advanced business models and commercialization plans were presented on-site through online mentoring by experts.

The evaluation consisted of a first preliminary evaluation (written evaluation) and a second on-site presentation evaluation. ▲Exion Labs (Team Leader Lee Jae-young) who proposed the ‘AI and Robot-based Drug Counting Classification Automation System’ won the grand prize and received a prize of 4 million won. ▲I-Say Team won the excellence award and received 2 million won. The winners will be given benefits such as free support for startup space and opportunities to participate in national competitions.

Pohang TP Director Bae Young-ho said, “Through this IR Challenge event, we were able to confirm the innovative and creative ideas of local ICT startups and prospective entrepreneurs.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to support local startups in securing initial funds and attracting investment.”
