브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 박선원 더불어민주당 의원은 5일 "김용현 전 국방부 장관이 출국할 움직임을 보이고 있다"면서 "제2의 '런종섭'(국방부 장관을 지낸 이종섭 전 호주대사의 급작스런 출국을 빗댄 말)이 되려고 한다"고 밝혔다.
국회 국방위원회 소속인 박선원 의원은 이날 국회에서 기자들과 만난 자리에서 김용현 전 장관이 항공편을 예약한 것으로 추정되는 제보를 확보했다고 주장하며 "윤석열 대통령과 함께 (비상계엄을) 모의하고 획책한 김 전 장관이 출국을 시도하고 있는데 여러분이 관심을 가져달라"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "현재 국방위에서 확실한 것 하나가 밝혀졌다"며 "내란사건 당시 박안수 계엄사령관은 아무것도 몰랐고, 특전사 국회 출동도 김용현 장관이 했다는 것"이라고 했다.
이어 그는 "국방부 차관과 당시 계엄사령관을 맡았던 박안수 육군참모장은 전시 상태가 아니고 병력 동원도 불필요했다며 잘못했다는 것을 인정하고 있다"고 전했다.
한편, 김용현 전 장관은 윤석열 대통령에게 비상계엄 선포를 건의한 것으로 알려져 있다. 김 전 장관은 지난 4일 "비상계엄과 관련한 모든 사태의 책임을 지겠다. 비상계엄 사무 관련해 임무를 수행한 전 장병들은 장관 지시에 따른 것으로 모든 책임은 본인에게 있다"며 사의를 표했다.
