브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 박근혜 정부에서 국무총리를 지낸 황교안 전 미래통합당(현 국민의힘) 대표가 4일 윤석열 대통령이 일으킨 이번 계엄 사태와 관련해 "이것은 종북 좌파와의 싸움"이라고 주장했다.
황 전 대표는 이날 오후 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "지금 왜 계엄령을 내렸는지 본질을 보라"라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "내가 계엄령 자체를 찬성한다기보다는, 종북 좌파가 나라를 완전히 무너뜨리고 있는 상황에서 대통령이 계엄을 선택한 것"이라며 "그러니 국힘은 함께 가라고 한 것"이라고 전했다.
이어 "종북 좌파를 척결하지 않으면 우리나라는 사회주의, 공산주의로 간다"라며 "범죄자를 방탄하기 위해 저들이 하는 짓을 보라. 부정 선거로 국회를 장악한 것"이라고 적었다.
황 전 대표는 "오늘 아침 국민의힘 최고위에서 윤 대통령 탈당, 김용현(국방부 장관) 처벌, 내각 총사퇴를 요구했다고 하는데, 그렇게 되면 박근혜 대통령 탄핵 때처럼 똑같이 간다"라며 "탄핵은 절대 안 된다"라고도 했다.
앞서 황 전 대표는 지난 3일 윤 대통령의 비상계엄 선포 이후 이에 동조하는 듯한 발언으로 논란을 일으켰다.
"나라 망가뜨린 종북 주사파 세력을 이번에 반드시 척결해야 한다. 부정 선거 세력도 이번에 반드시 발본색원해야 한다", "국민의힘은 대통령과 함께 가시라", "우원식 국회의장을 체포하라. 대통령 조치를 정면으로 방해하는 한동훈 국민의힘 대표도 체포하라" 등의 글을 자신의 페이스북에 연이어 올린 것이다.
