브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 그룹 시그니처(cignature / 채솔, 지원, 셀린, 벨, 세미, 도희, 클로이)가 데뷔 4년 만에 해체한다.
소속사 C9엔터테인먼트 측은 지난 3일 공식 팬 카페를 통해 “당사와 멤버들은 상호 간 대화를 통해 팀의 해체가 필요하다는 사실을 확인했다”며 말문을 열었다.
이어 “시그니처 멤버 7인 전원의 전속계약을 잔여 전속계약 기간과 상관없이 종료하며, 2024년 11월 30일부로 그룹 활동 역시 종료하게 됐다”며 “지금까지 수많은 어려움 속에서도 시그니처 멤버로서 최선을 다한 멤버들에게 깊은 감사의 말씀을 전한다”고 밝혔다.
그러면서 “시그니처를 아껴준 팬 여러분들께 갑작스러운 소식을 전하게 돼 죄송하다는 말씀 역시 드리며, 향후 다양한 영역에서 새로운 미래를 시작할 멤버들에게 따뜻한 응원을 부탁드린다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, 시그니처는 지난 2020년 2월 싱글 앨범 ‘눈누난나’로 데뷔했다. 이후 총 5장의 미니앨범과 2장의 싱글 앨범을 발매했다. 지난 6월 발매한 ‘스위티 벗 솔티’가 시그니처의 마지막 앨범이 됐다.
