브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 3일 윤석열 대통령의 비상계엄 선포와 관련해 "국회로 와 달라. 늦은 시간이긴 하지만, 국민 여러분께서 이 나라를 지켜주셔야 한다"라고 밝혔다.
그는 이날 긴급 라이브 방송을 통해 "국회가 비상계엄 해제 의결을 해야 하는데, 군대를 동원해 국회의원들을 체포할 가능성이 매우 높다"라며 이같이 전했다.
이 대표는 "저희도 목숨을 바쳐 이 나라 민주주의 꼭 지켜내겠다"라며 "국회가 비상계엄 해제 의결을 할 수 있도록, 이 나라 민주주의를 강건하게 지켜낼 수 있도록 국민 여러분께서 힘을 보태달라. 국민 여러분 지금 국회로 와 달라"라고 말했다.
이 대표는 군인들을 향해 "여러분에게 명령을 내릴 수 있는 것은 오로지 국민뿐"이라며 "윤 대통령은 국민을 배반했다. 윤 대통령의 불법적인 비상계엄 선포는 무효"라고 밝히기도 했다.
이어 "지금 이 순간부터 윤 대통령은 대한민국 대통령이 아니다"라며 "장병 여러분, 여러분이 들고 있는 총칼 여러분의 권력은 모두 국민에게서 온 것"이라고 말했다.
