브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 한동훈 국민의힘 대표가 3일 윤석열 대통령의 비상계엄 선포와 관련해 "요건에도 맞지 않는 위헌적인 비상계엄 선포"라며 "반드시 저희가 위법·위헌적인 비상계엄을 막아낼 것"이라고 밝혔다.
그는 비상계엄이 선포된 직후 기자들과 만나 "대한민국은 자유민주주의 국가다. 국민과 함께 자유민주주의를 지키겠다"라며 "비상계엄을 반드시 막아내겠다. 국민께서는 안심해주시기 바란다"라고 말했다.
여당인 국민의힘은 이날 윤 대통령의 비상계엄 선포에 대응해 서울 여의도 중앙당사에서 긴급 최고위원회의를 개최한다고 전했다.
