브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국경영자총협회가 3일 ‘철도·지하철노조 파업 예고에 대한 경영계 입장문’을 내고, 명분 없는 파업은 즉각 철회해야한다고 밝혔다.
민주노총 공공운수노조는 ‘대통령 퇴진’ 등 정치적 구호를 내세우며 산하 조직의 공동파업을 추진하는 가운데, 철도노조와 지하철노조는 오는 5일, 6일 파업 돌입을 예고한 상태다.
이에 경총은 “경영계는 국가경제에 어려움을 가중시키고 국민생활에 큰 불편을 초래할 수 있는 철도노조와 지하철노조의 파업에 대해 심각한 우려를 표한다”고 지적했다.
이어 “지금 우리 경제는 내수 부진과 수출 증가세 둔화로 저성장이 고착화될 것이라는 우려가 큰 상황”이라며 “우리 기업들은 비상경영체제로 전환하며 생존을 위해 허리띠를 졸라매고 있다”고 덧붙였다.
계속해서 “이러한 상황에서 철도·지하철노조가 임금인상, 공공성 강화 등을 내세우며 국민의 일상생활을 볼모로 파업을 강행하겠다는 것은 국민 정서상 받아들이기 어렵다”며 “더욱이 공공성 강화를 주장하면서 국민 공공의 이익을 져버리는 파업을 예고하는 것은 집단 이기주의로 밖에 볼 수 없다”고 비판했다.
경총은 “철도노조와 지하철노조는 명분 없는 파업을 즉각 철회해야 한다”며 “정부와 공사는 필수유지업무의 엄격한 준수, 대체인력 투입 등 적극적인 대응을 통해 파업으로 발생하는 피해와 국민들의 불편을 최소화해 주길 바란다”고 전했다.
