브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 여당인 국민의힘이 3일 상설특검 국회 규칙 개정과 관련해 '권한 쟁의 심판 및 효력정지 가처분 신청'을 제기한다고 밝혔다.
추경호 국민의힘 원내대표는 이날 국회에서 열린 당 원내대책회의에 참석해 "국민의힘은 위헌·위법적인 상설특검 규칙, 꼼수 개정에 대해 헌법재판소에 권한 쟁의 심판과 효력정지 가처분 신청을 제기한다"라고 전했다.
앞서, 대통령이나 그의 친인척을 수사하는 상설특검 후보를 추천할 때 여당을 배제하는 국회 규칙 개정안이 지난달 28일 더불어민주당 등 야당 주도로 국회를 통과하자 대응에 나선 것이다.
추 원내대표는 "민주당 입맛대로 수사권과 기소권을 틀어쥐겠다는 상설특검 꼼수 개정이 일방으로 강행 처리된 바 있다"라며 "특검 추천 위원의 정치적 중립과 직무상 독립을 규정한 상설특검법에 정면으로 반하는 내용으로, 하위 법인 국회 규칙으로 상위 법인 법률을 무너뜨리는 명백한 위헌·위법"이라고 주장했다.
그러면서 "국민의힘은 앞으로도 국회 권한을 악용하는 거대 야당의 폭거를 막고 법치주의를 지키는 일이라면, 모든 수단을 강구해 강력히 대응할 것"이라고 말했다.
