【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 대구 지역 현안에 대한 협력 의지를 피력했다.
2일 오전 9시 30분 더불어민주당 대구시당 김대중홀에서 더불어민주당 현장최고위원회가 개최됐다.
이날 이재명 대표는 “국가 로봇 테스트필드대구 유치, 도시철도 4호선 건설 그리고 경북도청 후적지에 문화 및 ICT 특구 지정 같은 대구의 미래를 위해서 최선을 다하겠다”고 말해 눈길을 끌었다.
그는 “대구가 어려운 것은 대구 자체의 문제라기보다 우리나라 전체 경제 성장의 하강 그리고 경기의 극심한 침체에 더해서 국토 불균형 발전, 수도권 1극 체제가 주원인”이라고 설명했다.
그러면서 “문제에 대한 처방으로 국토 균형발전 정책 그리고 성장 회복을 위한 정부 재정의 적극 역할이 반드시 필요하다”고 덧붙였다.
이와 함께 이 대표는 내년 예산안을 두고 불거진 갈등에 대해 입장을 밝히기도 했다.
그는 “정부가 어려운 재정상태에서 4조 8천억 원의 예비비를 편성한 것은 아무 때나 아무 용도로 꺼내 쓰겠다는 뜻”이라며 라며 “이중 절반은 나라 빚 갚아 이자라도 면제받자는 뜻에서 삭감했고, 어디에 쓰는지도 모르는 특활비를 삭감했는데 이것 때문에 살림을 못하겠다고 하는 것은 당황스러운 얘기”라고 비판했다.
아울러 “대한민국 경제가 참 어렵다. 지방으 더더욱 어렵고 서민들의 삶은 더더더욱 어려운 상황에 대해 생각해봐야 될 것 같다”며 “빠른 시일 내에 대구 시민들과 진지한 대화를 나눌 기회를 만들어보겠다”고 말하며 최고위를 마무리했다.
