【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자= 드론 및 공간정보 솔루션 개발기업인 ㈜아이지아이에스(대표 이호동)가 필리핀 현지에서 드론 기술을 활용한 수자원 관리 교육을 실시했다고 2일 밝혔다.
지난달 25일부터 29일까지 필리핀 마닐라에서 진행된 이번 교육은 KOICA 사업중 필리핀 팜팡가강 유역의 수자원통합관리시스템 구축 2차 사업의 일환으로 국가수자원위원회(NWRB: National Water Resources Board) 실무자 6명이 참여해 드론 기술을 활용한 수자원 관리 교육을 받았다.
프로그램은 ▶드론 기본 작동 원리 ▶데이터 수집 및 처리 방법 ▶현장 실습 등 실무 중심으로 구성되었다.
특히 ㈜아이지아이에스의 드론 촬영부터 데이터 활용까지 모든 과정을 지원하는 통합 솔루션 ‘DFOS Platform’을 활용해 효율적인 수자원 정보관리 기술 습득하는 것에 초점을 맞췄다.
이후동 부대표는 “DFOS Platform 교육은 NWRB 실무자들이 드론 기술을 활용해 수자원을 보다 체계적으로 관리하는 첫걸음이 될 것”이라며 “이를 계기로 보다 체계적이고 효율적인 수자원 관리 방안을 마련할 수 있기를 기대하며, 향후 필리핀 수자원 관리의 디지털 전환에 기여할 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.

Drone and spatial information solution developer IGIS (CEO Ho-dong Lee) announced on the 2nd that it has conducted water resource management training using drone technology in the Philippines.
