【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 김기웅 국회의원(대구중구남구)이 당원 연수를 개최했다고 2일 밝혔다.
지난달 30일 대구 중구 덕영치과 연회장에서 김기웅 국회의원, 권영진 국회의원을 비롯해 이만규 대구시의회 의장, 류규하 중구청장, 조재구 남구청장, 시·구 의원 등 주요 인사들과 국민의힘 당원 등이 참석한 가운데 2024 국민의힘 대구 중남구 당원 연수가 진행됐다.
행사에서는 권영진 국회의원이 ‘새로운 대한민국의 나아갈 길’이라는 주제로 특강을 맡았다.
권 의원은 대한민국의 역사에서 보수 정권이 이뤄왔던 업적과 성과들을 언급하면서 “지금이야말로 대구·경북의 역사적, 정치적 의미와 중요성을 되새기고, 그 자부심을 바탕으로 정권 재창출을 위해 단결해야 할 때”라고 말했다.
이와 함께 김기웅 의원이 6개월간의 의정활동을 보고하고, 토크콘서트를 통해 당원들과 지역 현안에 대한 의견을 나누는 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
김 의원은 “지난 6개월간 국회와 지역에서의 활동을 통해 의정 활동의 기초를 다졌다며, 이제는 지역주민들과 더욱 가까이에서 소통하며 현장의 목소리를 듣는 데 주력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
