2일 대성에너지에 따르면 지역사회 공헌 인정제도는 지속적인 사회 공헌활동을 펼친 기업을 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 공동으로 발굴하여 그 공로를 인정하는 제도이다.
인정 기업은 환경경영(Environment),사회적책임경영(Social Responsible),투명경영(Governance) 등 총 20개 지표에 대하여 공정하고 객관적인 심사를 거쳐 선정되었으며, 대성에너지는 환경경영 우수, 사회 공헌활동 확산과 통합적 관리 성과를 인정받았다.
대성에너지는 매년 대한적십자사, 자원봉사능력개발원 등 지역사회 비영리단체 및 사회복지단체와 협력하여 전사적 차원에서 다양한 사회공헌활동을 꾸준히 실천하고 있다.
대표적인 사회 공헌 프로그램으로 ‘임직원 매칭그랜트 후원사업’을 2015년부터 진행하고 있으며 이를 통해 모인 성금은 학대피해 아동 지원, 조손가정·한부모가정 지원, 청소년 꿈을 이뤄, 드림(Dream) 프로그램을 통해 후원했다.

Daesung Energy Selected as a ‘Community Contribution Recognized Company’ for 5 Consecutive Years
Daesung Energy Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Moon-hee) announced on the 2nd that it has been selected as a ‘2024 Community Contribution Recognized Company’ for 5 consecutive years in recognition of its contribution to various social contribution activities for the local community.
The Community Contribution Recognition System is a system in which the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Council for Social Welfare jointly discover and recognize companies that have continuously engaged in social contribution activities.
Recognized companies are selected through a fair and objective review of a total of 20 indicators, including environmental management (Environment), social responsibility management (Social Responsibility), and transparent management (Governance), and Daesung Energy was recognized for its excellent environmental management, expansion of social contribution activities, and integrated management performance.
Daesung Energy consistently practices various social contribution activities at the company-wide level in cooperation with local non-profit organizations and social welfare organizations such as the Korean Red Cross and the Volunteer Capacity Development Institute every year.
As a representative social contribution program, the ‘Employee Matching Grant Sponsorship Project’ has been carried out since 2015, and the donations raised through this have been used to support abused children, single-parent families, and youth dreams through the Dream program.
