양기대 전 의원 “국민이 원하는 새로운 정치·리더십 대안 마련”
더불어민주당 전직 의원모임인 초일회는 12월2일 보도자료에서 “초일회는 1일 김부겸 전 국무총리를 초청해 ‘미국 대선 평가와 한·미 관계 및 국제정세 전망’을 주제로 특강을 들은 뒤 토론회를 가졌다”고 알렸다.

김부겸 전 총리는 “트럼프 대통령의 귀환으로 전 세계가 혼란스럽고, 특히 한국은 정치경제적으로 의견이 하나로 모아지지 않아 국민들이 더 불안해하는 것 같다”면서 IMF 외환위기 당시 국민을 하나로 모은 김대중의 리더십이 절실하다고 강조했다. 이어 “지금 우리 정치권은 정쟁보다도 초당적 협력의 길을 찾아야 하며, 우선 기업 등 민간이 살 수 있도록 여야정 및 민간이 참여하는 협의체를 구성할 것”을 제안했다. 또한 “트럼프 정부 출범 후 미·중 대립이 격화되면 한국이 중국으로부터 여러가지 경제적인 어려움을 당할 것에 대비해야 하며, 특히 윤석열 정부는 미국에 줄만 서면 편안해질 것이라는 사고에서 벗어나 전략적 요소를 확보해야 한다”고 지적했다.
