브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 롯데그룹이 최근 유동성 위기설 등이 담긴 허위 지라시(정보지)를 작성·유포한 자를 찾아 처벌해달라고 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다.
2일 관련 업계에 따르면 롯데지주는 최근 서울 강남경찰서에 롯데그룹 관련 지라시 작성·유포자를 찾아내 신용훼손 혐의로 처벌해 달라고 수사 요청했다.
롯데는 그룹 위기설 지라시가 계열사 주가를 하락시키고, 금융·증권 시장에 불안감을 조성하면서 그룹 신용에 막대한 손해를 끼쳤다는 판단에 따라 수사를 의뢰한 것으로 전해졌다.
실제로 최근 급속도로 확산된 '롯데그룹 위기설' 관련 지라시에는 12월 초 모라토리엄(지급유예) 선언설, 롯데건설 미분양으로 계열사 간 연대보증 치명타, 그룹 소유 부동산 매각해도 빚 정리 어려움, 전체 직원 50% 이상 감원 예상 등 상당히 구체적이고 자극적인 내용들이 담겼으나 모두 사실이 아닌 것으로 드러났다.
이에 롯데는 지난달 18일 "유동성 위기 루머는 사실무근"이라고 공시하는 한편, 루머 생성·유포자에 대한 법적조치를 예고한 바 있다.
