브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 북한이 남한으로부터 개성공단에 전력을 공급했던 북측 송전선을 제거한 일과 관련해, 여당인 국민의힘이 "북한의 무단 파괴는 우리 국민의 재산권을 침해한 것이나 다름없다"라고 밝혔다.
조용술 국민의힘 부대변인은 27일 논평을 통해 "북한이 훼손한 남북공동연락사무소, 경의선·동해선 연결도로와 남북 연결 송전탑 전선은 우리 국민의 세금이 들어간 대한민국 자산"이라며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "남북 경제 협력의 상징인 개성공단에 전력을 공급하는 송전선을 일방적으로 끊은 행위는 명백한 남북 합의 위반이자 국제법 위반"이라고 지적했다.
조 부대변인은 "북한 김정은이 남북을 '동족 관계가 아닌 적대적 국가 관계'라고 규정한 이후, 남북 단절 조치가 가속화하고 있는 것"이라고 평가했다.
그는 "김정은 독재 정권이 우리 재산에 대해 의도적 도발을 이어갈수록, 남북 신뢰 회복은 더욱 요원해질 수밖에 없다는 점을 알아야 한다"라며 "정부는 북한의 불법적인 재산권 침해 행위에 대해 단호히 대응해 주시길 바란다"라고 당부했다.
이어 "안보 문제에 있어 여야가 따로 있을 수 없다"라며 "민주당도 북한이 자행하는 불법적 파괴 행태를 직시하고, 북한의 무모한 도발에 대해서는 비판의 목소리를 제대로 내주길 촉구한다"라고 덧붙였다.
앞서 북한군 수 명이 지난 24일부터 경의선의 군사분계선(MDL) 이북 일대에 있는 송전선을 제거하는 모습이 우리 군에 포착됐다고 합동참모본부가 지난 26일 밝혔다. 해당 송전선은 남한에서 북한 내 개성공단으로 전력을 공급할 때 사용됐었다.
