브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= HS효성첨단소재는 27일 서울 용산구 서울드래곤시티 호텔에서 열린 ‘2024년 지역사회공헌 인정의 날 행사’에서 6년 연속 지역사회공헌 인정 기업으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
지역사회공헌 인정제는 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 주관하는 인정제로, 꾸준한 지역 사회공헌활동을 펼친 기업의 공로를 인정해주는 제도이다. 사회적가치를 확산하고 사회공헌 생태계 구축에 기여하는 것이 목적이다. 지역사회공헌 인정제 심사는 E(환경경영), S(사회적 책임경영), G(투명경영) 3개 영역 중 7개 분야 25개 항목을 기준으로 이뤄진다.
HS효성첨단소재는 영락애니아의집 후원 및 봉사활동, 마포구 취약계층과 국가유공자를 위한 사랑의 생필품 나눔, 장애 어린이 재활 치료 프로그램 지원, 장애로 인한 제약 없이 영화를 감상할 수 있게 하는 배리어프리 영화 제작 지원 등 지역사회를 위한 다양한 사회공헌 프로그램을 진행한 공로를 인정받았다.
한편, HS효성은 출범 이후 장애인 스마트팜 ‘푸르메소셜팜’ 봉사활동, 서초구 서래공원 공원 입양, 국가유공자 생필품 나눔, 문화유산 행사 후원 등 다양한 영역에서 사회공헌을 위한 노력을 펼치고 있다.
