중소벤처기업부가 주최하고 동반성장위원회 주관으로 수상하는 ‘동반성장 유공 포상’은 대중소기업 간 상생협력을 통해 기업의 경쟁력을 향상하고 국가 경제 발전에 공로가 있는 우수기관을 포상하는 제도로 2004년부터 시행됐다.
한전KDN은 ‘KDN Ecl-Life’라는 독자적 지역 연계형 캠페인으로 지역사회와 임직원이 함께 참여하는 다회용컵 사용, 플로깅 캠페인 등 일상과 상생의 가치를 연결하고 지난달에는 ESG Week 시행을 통해 광주·전남에 소재한 사회적경제기업의 판로개척을 지원하는 등 공공기관 동반성장평가에서 3년 연속 ‘최우수 등급’을 취득했다.
이와 함께 ▲공공기관 최초 공정거래 환경조성을 위한 공정거래협약 이행평가 참여 우수등급 획득 ▲양극화 해소 자율협약 참여 ▲다양한 중소기업 지원 프로그램 운영으로 성과창출 기여 등 상생협력 문화확산을 위해 노력한 공적을 인정받아 이번 표창을 수상했다
한전KDN 관계자는 "에너지ICT 전문 공기업으로서 에너지 업(業)과 연계한 다양한 맞춤형 지원 프로그램 개발로 사회적 책임 실천에 주력하고 있다“면서 ”대·중소기업과의 동반성장 실천으로 국민의 신뢰 속에서 성장하는 공기업이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
