브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 동아쏘시오그룹 직원들이 지역 장애인들과 함께 특별한 가을 나들이를 진행했다.
동아쏘시오그룹은 최근 경기 용인시 에버랜드에서 장애인식 개선과 장애인 여가활동 지원을 위한 다양한 체험 기회를 제공하는 ‘동고동락’ 행사를 진행했다.
동고동락은 동아쏘시오그룹의 ‘동아멘토링’ 활동의 일환으로, 괴로움과 즐거움을 함께 나눈다는 의미를 담고 있다.
행사에 앞서 직원들은 장애에 대한 인식 개선 교육을 받은 후, 구립동대문장애인복지관을 이용하는 성인 발달장애인과 2:1 또는 3:1로 동행하며, 놀이기구를 즐기고 조별 미션을 수행하는 등 다양한 교류 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 장애에 대한 이해도를 높였다.
동아쏘시오그룹은 2018년 구립동대문장애인종합복지관과 평창 패럴림픽 동행을 계기로 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 동행하는 동고동락을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다.
동아쏘시오그룹 관계자는 “동고동락 활동을 통해 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 소통하고 교류하는 소중한 기회를 마련하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 협력하여 다양한 사회 공헌 활동을 진행함으로써 기업의 사회적 책임을 다할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
