글로벌스탠더드경영대상(Global Standard Management Awards)은 한국경영인증원(KMR)의 주관 아래 그린경영, 품질경영, 안전경영, 탄소중립경영, 상생경영 등 9개의 테마별로 경영성과와 수행실적이 우수한 기업 및 기관 단체를 발굴해 수여하는 상이다. 올해 그린경영부분 대상을 수상한 에코프로머티리얼즈를 포함해 총 35개 단체가 수상 기업으로 선정됐다.
에코프로머티리얼즈가 수상한 그린경영대상은 중장기 녹생경영 전략 수립 및 실천을 통해 환경오염 감소뿐만 아니라 규제 대응, 기업의 지속성장을 위해 새로운 가치를 제고한 기업들이 대상이다.
에코프로머티리얼즈는 '환경, 안전, 보건이 최우선 원칙'이라는 경영 철학을 바탕으로 연 2회 사업장 환경, 안전 진단 평가를 실시하고 불합리한 요소를 발굴하여 개선하고 있다.
특히 환경사고를 사전에 예방하고 사업장과 지역사회의 환경 위험성을 효율적으로 관리한 점을 인정받아 지난 2019년 환경경영시스템(ISO 14001) 인증을 획득한 바 있다.

이 결과 연간 매출액이 2021년 3429억 원에서 2023년 9525억 원으로 3배가량 성장했고, 환경오염물질 법적 기준 30% 이내 관리, 에너지·폐기물 등 목표 저감율 100% 달성, 폐기물 재활용률 97% 달성 등 다양한 성과를 일궈내며 이차전지 소재분야 친환경 선도기업으로 도약했다.

EcoPro Materials Wins 2024 Global Standard Management Award
