이번 활동에는 대성에너지 임직원 봉사단, 적십자봉사회 서구지회 등 50여 명이 참여하여 지역의 어르신과 노약자 등 취약계층 800여 명에게 따뜻한 식사를 제공했다.
쌀쌀해진 날씨 속에서 진행된 이번 봉사활동은 지역사회 소외계층의 영양과 건강을 지원하고 따뜻한 연말 분위기를 나누고자 마련됐다.
이날 급식을 받기 위해 줄을 선 어르신들에게 따뜻한 밥과 국 그리고 정성껏 마련한 반찬을 담아드리고 특히 거동이 불편한 어르신들께는 직원들이 대신 배식받아 전달해 드렸다.
한편, 대성에너지는 대한적십자사 대구지사와 협약을 체결하고 매년 무료 급식, 명절 희망꾸러미, 저소득 청소년 매칭그랜트 후원사업 등 다양한 후원과 봉사활동으로 ESG경영을 실천하고 있다.
