한국의 많은 언론들은 트럼프 당선에 우려와 불안을 표하는 기사를 쏟아내고, 특히 조선·중앙일보는 트럼프 대통령의 당선을 마치 한반도에 재앙이나 되는 듯이 비관과 비하를 톱뉴스로 선전한다. 지난 대선기간에 미국의 언론들이 8:2의 비율로 트럼프에게 불리하고 해리스에게 유리한 기사를 쏟아낼 때, 조선일보를 비롯한 한국의 언론들도 덩달아 트럼프에게 부정적인 기조의 기사들로 국민들을 속였는데, 트럼프는 결코 한국에 해로운 정치인이 아니다. 트럼프의 당선은 여러 가지 점에서 미국은 물론이고 자유진영에 축복이며, 특히 중국·러시아·북한을 적대적 관계로 인접하고 있는 대한민국에는 가장 큰 축복이다. 다만, 윤석열 정권의 기습적 쿠바수교를 보고, ‘테러를 지원하는 부끄러운 자해행위’로 규정한 국무장관 마르코 루비오의 평가가 윤석열의 장해성을 증거한다.
