브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 사내 어린이집 ‘도토리소풍 넥슨 어린이집’이 서울여자대학교와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 19일 밝혔다.
도토리소풍은 지난 18일 서울여자대학교와 가족회사 체제의 업무협약을 체결하고 영유아 교육 및 학술연구 분야의 교류, 교원 양성 및 교직원 교육, 산학협력 사업 참여 등과 관련하여 상호 협력해 나가기로 했다.
도토리소풍은 서울여자대학교와 학술 교류 및 교직원 간 협업을 진행하며 국내외 영유아 교육이론과 최신 놀이방법 등을 어린이집 운영에 적용할 계획이다.
또한, 영유아 교육 연구개발의 폭을 확대하고 미래의 보육교사를 양성하기 위한 서울여자대학교 아동학과 학부생 대상의 진로 연계 활동을 지원해 나갈 예정이다.
도토리소풍 넥슨 별 어린이집 박진영 원장은 “오랜 기간 국내 아동심리 및 교육학 연구를 통해 유아 보육에 선도적 역할을 해 온 서울여자대학교 아동학과와 협약을 체결하게 됐다”며 “보육교사의 전문 역량을 강화하고 보육 현장에 필요한 새로운 지식을 교류하고 실천하는 기회가 될 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 도토리소풍은 넥슨 그룹사의 구성원 자녀 약 400여 명을 공동 보육하는 사내 어린이집으로 판교, 강남, 제주 등지에 6개 원을 운영하고 있다. 넥슨은 구성원 자녀들의 건강한 신체 및 정서적 발달을 위해 별도의 어린이집 운영부서를 두고 다양한 교육 프로그램을 진행하는 등 최적의 보육 환경과 체계적인 교육 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
