명태균은 대선 당시 윤석열 후보를 상대로 선거 컨설팅을 했고, 윤 후보가 당선되는데 있어 큰 역할을 했다고 그는 공공연하게 말하고 다녔다. 현재 TV나 언론에서 속속 밝혀진 당시 그의 행적들을 추적해보면 스스로 불구덩이로 걸어간 선거 컨설턴트였다고 판단된다. 그는 완전 범죄를 꿈꾸는 여론조사 조작을 원했음에도 자신의 못난 모습이 세상에 드러나고 말았다.
누구든지 자신을 돋보이고 싶은 과시욕은 있다. 윤 대통령과 김건희 여사를 만나 인생역전을 이루었다면, 지저분한 사건을 만든 장본인이 비록 예봉이 자신을 향하더라도 유구무언으로 입을 봉하고 기다렸어야 했다. 그런데 자신에게 향한 비난을 참지 못하고 현 대한민국 최고 권력자를 상대로 게임을 진행했다는 것에 실소를 금하지 않을 수 없다. 이미 보도된 사건의 전말을 토대로 앞으로 나타날 그의 태도를 ‘다 같이 죽자!’, 아니면 ‘내가 책임지마!’로 압축해서 전개될 일들을 예측해 보자.
먼저, 다 같이 죽자!

지금 명태균은 어떻게 해서든 위기를 모면하고 싶지만, 언론의 늪과 대척점에 놓인 정치무사들이 그를 더 깊숙이 잡아당기고 있다. 그리고 그의 성향을 볼 때, 그는 머지않아 전자인 ‘다 같이 죽자’로 돌변할 가능성이 커져 보인다.
