지승룡 작가(목사)가 저술한 “사랑 31번지”라는 제목의 저서가 출간(출판사: 열린서원) 됐다.
출판사측은 보도자료에서 “한강의 <노벨문학상> 수상을 계기로 다시 인문학적 독서 읽기의 부흥이 일어나는 일은 산업자본주의 경쟁 시대에 자칫 메말라 가는 우리의 정서를 다시 일깨우는 반가운 일”이라면서 “이런 시점에 ‘민들레 영토 희망스토리’ 등의 저자 지승룡이 새로운 책 <사랑 31번지>를 선보이게 됐다”고 소개했다.
이어 “세상에 잘 알려진 유명인들의, 실은 엄청난 사건이었음에도 불구하고, 고의적으로 안 알려지게 되었거나 알려졌다고 해도 왜곡된 그 인물과 사건의 사랑 이야기를 르포 형식으로 기술하고자 한 것”이라면서 “이 책, ‘31가지’ 사랑 이야기는 31가지 사건의 국내외 주요 인물에 대한 내용이다. 해외 인물로는 찰리 채플린, 마릴린 먼로, 제인 폰더, 피카소 등이고, 국내에는 정인숙, 목숨 바쳐 사랑한 기생들, 예컨대 장연홍, 강명화, 김옥엽, 왕수복 등 한국 근현대사의 일패기생 그리고 노벨문학상에 담긴 숨겨진 이야기들이 있다”고 알렸다.
제목을 ‘31번지’라고 잡은 이유는 한 달 내 내 에로스와 에토스적인 사랑의 세포를 우리 가슴에서 들어 올려 사랑으로 먹고사는 우리의 감성이 어려운 현실을 극복하고 이기게 하는 현주소가 된다는 이야기라고.
이 책의 출간을 기념하며 저자와 함께 이야기를 나누는 시간으로 11월 22일 오후 6시 30분에 서울시 종로구 종로 2가 <문화공간 온>에서 출판 기념회가 열린다.

저자 지승룡 작가 소개
지승룡 작가는 서울 성동구 금호동 산 14번지에서 출생했고 숭문고등학교 연세대학교 장로회신학대학원을 마치고 장로교 목사가 된다.
목회자로 보내다 그는 교회사역을 넘어 청소년 교육운동에 집중하며 청소년 사역을 하다가 1994년 4월 신촌에서 10평정도의 카페 민들레영토를 창업한다. 민들레영토는 많은 분들의 관심을 받으며 엄청난 속도로 발전하였고 지승룡의 실학정신과 실천이 대중들에게 알려지는 계기가 됐다.
역사와 문화를 담은 인문학을 지향한 그는 길 위의 인문학에 심취해 역사인문학의 장을 열어가고 있다. 저서로 시집 ‘공간을 채우는 사랑’ 강연집인 ‘선배처럼 살아라’를 출간했다. ‘민들레영토 희망스토리’는 베스트 셀러가 됐다. 기업체와 관공서 등 많은 곳에 강연을 다니며 명강사의 반열에 올랐다.
그러나 그는 이런 저런 사연으로 재야로 돌아가 다시 독서운동에 집중하고 있다. 이후 명상과 성찰의 시간을 보냈고 최근에는 ‘자존감긋다’ ‘명동다다이스트’를 출간했다. 현재 휴먼테라피 학회와 길 위의 인문학운동을 하고 있으며 서울의 소리 편집주간을 맡아 인문학 콘텐츠 제작을 하고 있다.
한편 11월 22일 오후 6시 30분, 서울시 종로구 종로2가 12 통일빌딩 3층 문화공간 '온'에서 이 책의 출판기념회가 있다.

About the author Ji Seung-ryong
Author Ji Seung-ryong was born at 14 Geumho-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and after graduating from Sungmoon High School and Yonsei University Presbyterian Theological Seminary, he became a Presbyterian pastor.
Sent as a pastor He focused on youth education and youth ministry beyond church ministry, and in April 1994, he founded a 10-pyeong cafe called Dandelion Territory in Sinchon. Dandelion Territory received much attention and grew rapidly, becoming an opportunity for Ji Seung-ryong's Silhak spirit and practice to be known to the public.
