거창군, 2024 ITF 태권도 코리아 오픈 챔피언십 개최

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난 2일부터 3일까지 거창스포츠파크 실내체육관에서 국제태권도연맹(ITF) 대한민국협회(회장대행 유승희)와 경남지부(지부장 양민지)가 주관한 ‘2024 ITF 태권도 코리아 오픈 챔피언십’을 성황리에 개최했다고 4일 밝혔다.

개회식에는 구인모 군수를 비롯해 김일수 도의원, 김향란·표주숙·신재화 군의원, 국제태권도연맹 임원 등 주요 내빈이 참석하여 자리를 빛냈다.

이번 대회는 한국, 칠레, 덴마크, 우즈베키스탄, 키르기스스탄, 카자흐스탄, 베트남, 러시아, 미국 등 총 9개국, 16개 팀, 299명이 참가하는 국제대회로, 틀(품세), 맞서기(겨루기), 격파 등 3개 부문에서 남녀 단체전과 개인전이 진행됐다. 개최지인 거창에서도 70명이 참가해 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 발휘하며 열정적인 발차기를 선보였다.
