【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군은 11월 1일부터 2일간 운수대통 생거진천 전통시장에서 ‘2024 생거진천 전통시장 달빛 감성 축제’를 개최한다.
이번 행사는 올해 충북도 전통시장 활성화 특화사업 공모에 선정돼, 지역주민들에게 문화 향유의 기회를 제공하고 생거진천 전통시장만의 매력을 알리기 위해 기획됐다.
축제는 2일간 12시부터 21시까지(9시간) 진행되며, 야시장, 프리마켓, 관내 청소년으로 구성된 사과나무 오케스트라 공연, 상인회 밴드공연, 퓨전국악, 마술쇼, 경품추첨 등 다채로운 프로그램을 즐길 수 있다.
특히, 행사 기간 내 온 가족이 함께 가을밤을 즐길 수 있는 가족 글램핑 무료 체험행사(사전 예약)와 상인회원들이 직접 준비한 쿠키 만들기 등 8가지 체험관, 진천상업고등학교 창업동아리 학생들이 운영하는 청춘 시장 등이 준비돼 있어 축제의 즐거움과 재미를 더할 예정이다.
정기철 생거진천 전통시장 상인회장은 “이번 축제가 전통시장에 새로운 활력을 불어넣고, 주민들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 화합의 장이 되길 기대한다”라며 “앞으로도 전통시장에 대한 지역주민들의 많은 관심과 이용을 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
