시민과 함께 하는 독서문화축제 ‘2024 해솔북(BOOK)적 장터’가 11월 2일 파주시 해솔도서관 일대에서 열린다.

해솔북(BOOK)적 장터는 파주시민, 책방, 작은도서관 등 독서문화 주체들이 ‘책’을 매개로 도서관 앞마당에서 어우러져 즐기는 동네 문화 축제로, 지난해 이어 올해로 2회째다.
이번 행사에서는 ▲독서 체험 프로그램 ▲지역 주민과 전문 판매자가 운영하는 벼룩시장(플리마켓) ▲보드게임 대회 및 체험 ▲지역 책방 도서 판매 ▲도장찍기 여행(스탬프 투어) ▲사진 촬영 행사 등의 프로그램이 진행될 예정이다.
독서 체험 프로그램 중 작은도서관의 가죽공예와 무지개 모빌 만들기, 지역 강사의 풍선아트 등은 시간대별로 6명씩 참여할 수 있으며, 행사 당일 10시부터 사전 신청을 받는다.
이 밖에 지역 책방인 ‘평화를 품은 책방’의 평화책 만들기, 파주 세경고등학교의 동아리 ‘콜로세움’의 입체 블록 체험, 바람개비 만들기 등 현장에서 바로 참여할 수 있는 독서체험 프로그램들도 실시될 예정이다.
단 벼룩시장과 보드게임대회는 사전에 누리집을 통해 신청한 참가자를 대상으로 한다.
해솔도서관 관계자는 “이번 축제를 통해 시민과 지역사회, 도서관이 함께 참여하고 즐기는 지역 공동체 문화의 장이 마련되길 바란다”라며, “앞으로도 시민 문화의 중심이 되는 도서관으로서의 역할을 수행해나가겠다”라고 말했다.[파주=빅정호 기자]
