고양특례시 산하 고양어린이박물관이 오는 11월 3층 예술놀이터 전시장에서 어린이 가족을 대상으로 예술 체험 전시‘뒤바뀐 세상'을 선보인다.

고양어린이박물관은 개관 이후 ‘즐거운 하루, 오늘!’, ‘소리의 발견’, ‘나나아스트로 고양:별 여행’ 등 어린이들이 예술을 쉽고 재미있게 경험할 수 있도록 하는 다양한 기획전시를 개최해왔다.
이를 잇는 네 번째 기획전시 ‘뒤바뀐 세상'은 ‘물체의 성질을 다르게 바꿔본다면 어떨까?’라는 상상에서 시작해 네 팀의 현대 예술 작가와의 협력을 통해 새로운 예술 체험 경험을 선사한다.
물체가 가진 본연의 성질을 낯설게 뒤바꿔 구현한 각 팀의 작품들로 구성된 이번 전시는 ▲방이 위아래로 뒤집힌 ‘거꿀거꿀 뒤집힌 방' ▲기계와 식물이 결합된 ‘위잉위잉 식물 정원' ▲하늘과 땅이 뒤바뀐 ‘둥실둥실 구름 세상' ▲새로운 디저트의 공간 ‘말랑딱딱 촉감 놀이터' ▲AI(인공지능) 디지털 체험 ‘뒤죽박죽 도형 조종실' ▲자유 창작 공간 ‘'꼬불꼬불 상상 연구실' 등 총 여섯 개의 섹션으로 구성된다.
김해인, 노동식, 소수빈, DOA(장진연, 이진형) 작가는 이번 전시를 통해 어린이 눈높이와 감성에 맞게 구현한 작품 세계를 펼쳐 보인다.

가베에서 아이디어를 얻은 이번 작품은 컴퓨터 인공지능 기술로 하여금 다양한 모양들이 조합된 아이들의 상상력을 색다른 방식으로 실현시켜준다.

어린이들이 좋아할만한 동물 모양을 그려낸 솜구름의 방으로 떠나볼 수 있다.

체험자의 입김으로 반응하거나 다가가면 움직이는 아크릴 식물을 통해 자연에 영향을 끼치는 인간의 행동을 탐구해볼 수 있다.
▲DOA(장진연, 이진형)팀은 스펀지, 천, 실리콘 등 다양한 재료를 활용하여 어린이들이 가장 좋아하는 디저트의 성질을 변화시킨다.
먹을 수는 없지만 만지는 것만으로도 신기한 식감을 느낄 수 있는 새로운 디저트의 공간으로 초대한다.

You can go to the cotton cloud room where children draw animal shapes that they will like. ▲Artist Sosubin looks at the changing nature due to technological advancement and ponders the harmonious life of technology and nature.
